MATH 151 - FALL 2007 - ASSIGNMENT #17 In the text book, do the following problems from Section #61 (Probability models in population genetics). P. 709-710 (Exercises for Section 61) do Problems #1-9 (odd). I do not expect you to hand these problems in, but you should be prepared for similar problems appearing on the exam to be given on Nov. 15. Note that Section 61 includes a variety of examples using difference equations. This material will be used as an introduction to the next section of the course on discrete-time modeling (difference equations), and will not be on the Nov. 15 exam but will be on the final exam. Due: Thursday November 15.
