Chris,
      There is some discrepancy about obtaining face masks – you had said in a meeting that there were plenty available on campus for students  so faculty could hand out if needed. Dean Lee just said in a College town hall that she didn’t know about availability for students and departments were not supposed to order them. Can you provide clarification on this – are masks being distributed to department offices automatically, in what quantity, or are units supposed to order them somehow from facilities?

Departments can order masks from their business officers in the quantities they feel they need and they will be delivered to the departmental office.  Similar to last year but without the PPE request form.  They should just email the request to Jason Cottrell in Facilities.  All the branded masks have been distributed to the incoming freshman but there are still disposable masks and the masks that came from the state.  
 
That departments cannot order masks is likely a misrepresentation of a discussion about N95s.
