In Chapter 9 of the Textbook, read sections 9.3 and 9.4. Do the following exercises: 9.1 (b,c), 9.2 (b,c), 9.3 (b,c), 9.4 (b,c) and 9.9, 9.12, and 9.13. These problems will not be collected for grading, but may be used as the basis for in-class problems you will be expected to turn in during class.
