MATH 152 - SPRING 2016 - ASSIGNMENT #4 - Project#1

Do the second part of the Unit Project titled "Investigating Biodiversity" on pages 
299-301 of the text. That is do the questions #1-5 on the bottom of page 300 and the 
questions #1-4 on the top of page 301 (do not do the questions 1-7 on the top of 
page 300 unless you would like to refresh your understanding of probability. It 
will be helpful to use Matlab to do this project. 

You may collaborate with other students in doing this project but 
be sure to write your own report in your own words (that is, you
should not turn in exactly the same report as other students). If you
collaborate with other students, list the names of the students who you 
collaborated with.  

Due: Tuesday March 1 in class. This should be written using a wordprocessor 
- do not turn in hand-written results. Bring a hard copy to your class on the
due date.
